Prosper Medical Staffing ("Company," "we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit ProsperMedicalStaffing.com (the "Website"), submit credentials, request services, or otherwise interact with us. By using the Website you consent to the practices described here. If you do not agree, do not use the Website. This Policy supplements, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions.
We collect information you provide directly — including name, email, phone, mailing address, professional licenses and certifications, NPI, DEA, employment and education history, references, resumes, photo identification, tax documents (e.g., W-9), banking or payment details, and any other information you submit through forms, uploads, or correspondence. For Client Facilities, we collect organizational contact details, billing information, and assignment requirements. We also collect information automatically: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps, and approximate location, gathered through cookies, pixels, server logs, and similar technologies. With your authorization we receive information from background-check vendors, license-verification services, OIG/SAM exclusion databases, references, and previous employers.
We use information to: (a) match Healthcare Professionals with Client Facilities and facilitate placements; (b) verify credentials, eligibility, and exclusion status; (c) execute and administer agreements, payments, and tax reporting; (d) communicate about opportunities, status updates, and required disclosures; (e) operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Website and our services; (f) comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations including HIPAA where applicable; (g) detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized activity; and (h) send marketing communications you may opt out of at any time.
We share information with Client Facilities considering you for placement; with background-check, license-verification, drug-screening, and credentialing providers; with payroll, tax, accounting, and payment processors; with cloud hosting, analytics, email, and communications vendors that act as our service providers under contract; with regulators, courts, and law enforcement when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property; and with successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information for marketing purposes. Where Protected Health Information (PHI) is exchanged, the parties will execute a Business Associate Agreement and comply with HIPAA/HITECH.
We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the Website and may use analytics and performance cookies to understand usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the Website may not function correctly. We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals; we honor opt-outs described in this Policy and any applicable law.
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction — including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, audit logging, vendor diligence, and least-privilege principles. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for promptly notifying us of any suspected compromise of your account.
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Credentialing and placement records may be retained for the period required by applicable law or Client Facility policy. When no longer required, information is securely deleted, anonymized, or returned.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know categories collected and disclosed and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" (we do not sell personal information for marketing). To exercise rights, contact us using the details below; we will verify your identity before responding. You may also opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message.
The Website is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
The Website is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of your information in the U.S., which may have data-protection laws different from those of your jurisdiction.
